Basic knowledge of PE protective film die-cutting and material application

1. Types of surface materials Surface materials can basically be divided into two categories: paper and film.

It is obvious that the cutting affair of paper is slightly different from that of film materials. Although theoretically speaking, PE protective film manufacturers must cut through the surface material and adhesive together when die-cutting, but theoretically die-cutting paper materials is the combined result of tool cutting and paper stress fracture, that is, the cutting edge is cutting downwards. The paper is also squeezed to both sides, so, relatively speaking, the die-cutting accuracy of paper-like materials is not very high. When analyzing samples, we often see that some labels have burrs. This is due to the fact that the material fibers are relatively thick and naturally fractured.

Based on the die-cutting characteristics of paper materials, and considering the wear of the blade, the angle of the flat die-cutting blade of the PE protective film manufacturer is 52°. Assuming that the angle is large, the extrusion deformation of the material will be large, that is, the distinction of horizontal tendency The force will aggravate the phenomenon of material fracture.

For the die cutting of film materials, the PE protective film manufacturer is simply a process of complete cutting through. Because most of the film materials are tough and will not break naturally, it is not appropriate to cut through two-thirds of the thickness. It must be completely cut or cut through four-fifths of the thickness, otherwise it will be peeled off along with the label when it is discharged.
