Classification of plastic protective films and basic requirements for their use
- Jul 06, 2018 -

Plastic protective film can be divided into digital product protective film, automobile protective film, household protective film, food preservation film and the like according to the use. According to the nature, it can be divided into rubber film and self-adhesive film. The former is easy to adjust the adhesion, and the transparency and weather resistance are good. The self-adhesive film is generally produced by co-extrusion. No residue, providing stable adhesion, reducing user costs, and creating higher profits for protective film manufacturers.

Plastic protective film according to the classification of rubber, there are two major types of rubber and acrylate, of which rubber plastic protective film is soft, can reach the final viscosity quickly; molecular mobility is good; relatively easy to tear and so on. The acrylate-based plastic protective film can be further divided into an emulsion type and a solvent type.

The difference in substrate can also be used as the main basis for the plastic protective film. The substrates involved may include PE substrate, PVC substrate, PET substrate, OPP substrate and others. But no matter which type of plastic protective film, the basic requirements for use are the same.

First of all, different surfaces require different viscous plastic protective films. Even different materials with different surfaces may require different viscosities. Secondly, a reasonable matching of the thickness and viscosity of the plastic protective film is required. In addition, a plastic protective film is also required. The flexibility and strength of the performance meet the corresponding requirements.
