Production factors of transparent polyethylene film

It is understood that the forming of transparent polyethylene film is mostly by the upper blowing method, and the film formed by this production method is relatively poor in transparency. If the LDPE film is formed into a down-blowing method and the bubble is water-cooled, the transparency of the LDPE blown film can be improved, and its gloss and softness are also good.


When producing transparent polyethylene film, the first thing to pay attention to is the selection of raw materials. It is required to use a low density polyethylene resin with a density of 0.921 to 0.925 g/cm3 and a melt flow rate of 2 to 4 g/10 min. The ready-to-produce single-screw extruder and forming die are then ready for production.


In the equipment used for the forming of transparent polyethylene film, the screw structure should be a gradient of equal pitch thread depth, with a length to diameter ratio of 20:1 and a compression ratio of 3:1; and the forming die is a spiral mandrel structure; The distance from the cooling level is about 100mm. Note that the production cooling surface should be kept free of jitter.


When the thickness of the transparent polyethylene film produced is less than 0.04 mm, the feeding temperature of the barrel is 120-140 ° C, the temperature of the plasticizing section is 130-150 ° C, the temperature of the homogenization section is 140-165 ° C, and the temperature of the forming mold is 150. ~ 165 ° C, the melt temperature is around 155 ° C.
