What is the detection method of PET release film?
Sep 16, 2022
To understand the detection method of pet release film, let's first understand the detection items of pet release film.
The test items of the release film are divided into nine items: color, appearance, curl, thickness, dry solids, surface resistance, peeling force, residual adhesion and aging test.
1. Color detection of pet release film: sample comparison
2. Appearance inspection of pet release film: visual inspection
3. Detection of curling degree of pet release film: place the sample of the cut sample on the glass platform to detect whether there is warpage on both sides
Fourth, the thickness of the pet release film: test with a thickness gauge, and each sample is tested at three points on the left, middle and right
5. Detection of dry solid content of pet release film: Take three samples before and after coating, and test them with X-ray fluorescence energy dispersive analyzer
6. Surface resistance detection of pet release film: Take an A4 size sample from each of the left, middle and right parts of the full width, and then test the surface resistance with surface resistance equipment
7. Peeling force detection of pet release film: The peeling force test of pet release film is the most complicated, and it is generally divided into several time periods:
1. Stick tesa7475 test tape, and test it after placing it at room temperature for different time periods. According to GB/T 2792-1998 "Test Method for Peel Strength of Pressure Sensitive Tape 1800", measure whether the adhesive force of the protective film meets the specifications.
2. After the release film coating is completed, take a number of A4 paper-sized samples and seal them with plastic bags and place them at room temperature for 24 hours. After 24 hours, take out the tesa7475 test tape and place them at room temperature for 20 hours with two steel plates weighing 7.7 kg. Take it out after an hour, and then place it at room temperature for several hours before testing. According to GB/T 2792-1998 "Test Method for Peeling Strength of Pressure Sensitive Tape 1802", measure whether the peeling force of the protective film meets the specification requirements.
8. The residual adhesive force of the pet release film is tested with 31B test tape. It is clamped with an A4 notebook and placed in a precision oven at standard temperature. After a few hours, take it out. After placing it at room temperature for a period of time, press Sensitive Tape 1803 Peel Strength Test Method" to measure the peel strength of Nitto 31B and steel plates.
9. For the aging test of pet release film, first stick 7475 test tape, clamp two steel plates weighing 7.7 kg and place it in a precision oven adjusted to the standard temperature, take it out after a few hours, and test it after placing it at room temperature, according to GB/T 2792- 1998 "Pressure Sensitive Tape 1802 Peel Strength Test Method" to measure whether the adhesive force of the protective film meets the specification requirements.
The detection method of pet release film is also inseparable from the detection equipment and judgment standards. The detection methods and judgment standards of various manufacturers may not be the same. If there are manufacturers with different testing methods, please leave a message at the bottom for communication.
